Last month in Antwerp I spied a copy of Vervoordt's new book Living with Light, and its been on my Amazon wish list ever since- and thanks to an impromptu book shopping spree, the volume is en route. The designer creates spaces with an amazing amount of visual texture and perfectly-imperfect architectural elements. In fact, his design philosophy is loosely inspired from the Buddhist philosophy of "Wabi-Sabi." His last interiors book was called Wabi Inspirations - which one authority describes as an "a sense of serene melancholy and deep spiritual longing."
Below are a couple snaps of the new book and a few of his other published spaces. All images copyrighted by their respected owners.
