Winter in the midwest is a long season- so I salvage as many green elements from spring and summer as possible. Ferns, mosses, and tillandsia fill any open spaces in my home and improve the quality of the air during the shut-in months. I scavenge for unique containers, cachepot, and vessels to add even more interest.
Below are some beautiful examples of artfully displayed specimens and my own dining table centerpiece compiled in a vintage bakery bread bowl and driftwood from New England.
